New Substances of Very High Concern?

The Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs) is a new instrument introduced by the REACH Regulation.

ECHA and several Member States have put forward proposals to indentify 20 new chemical substances as Subtances of Very High Concern (SVHCs). Of the substances proposed, 19 have been suggested because of their potentially serious effects on human health and, are classified as carsinogenic and/or toxic for reproduction.
